What to do and, What not to do: Violence spreads against Muslim brothers in Sri Lanka

Today is 15th June 201. Time is 2000 GMT.  There are reports coming out from Sri Lanka that Buddhist mobs which is backed by extreme Bodu Bala Sena is attacking the properties of Muslim brothers including their mosques, shops and houses. It is a challenging times for the Government of Sri Lanka. What are the possible steps could be taken to stop violence spreading and preventing further violence in short term? Galagoda Atthe Gnanasara tera is a hateful figure. I have met him few years ago without knowing what will bring us together in our way by our faiths. May be he had an idea of what he wanted to be at the time, but I did not. We hardly conversed but ended up spending about an hour or so together. The judgment of Navanethem Pillay on Post-War Sri Lanka

Abstract: This writings make well-informed few remarks about the Pillay’s judgment regarding post-war Sri Lanka.   W hy is Pillay’s judgment so shaky in the case of Sri Lanka? Most of insiders and   acute ob serves are saying so. Pillay, the High Commissioner of the Office of Human Rights, is a fighter in her spirit. Her track record shows that she had never let her deprived past affect her professional carrier. She has an impressive carrier history as a judge and a humanitarian worker. She also acutely aware of the political nature of her appointments. Pillay is no stranger to the state-of-nature in post-war societies either. But it seems, however, this time in the case of Sri Lanka she is bit of far behind of the professionalism expected from her as the High Commissioner. It seems her cultural and religious heritage of being a Tamil origin has gotten her way.  She started fighting the establishment even before she became a lawyer in Apartheid South Africa....
